The hotel does not provide free beach chairs so if you are planning to go to the beach be prepared to pay for these ( about 20-25$ per day) They are free by the pool however. The restaurants are fairly close 5-10 minute walk. The location is nice if you are looking to rest, peace and quiet. However, once we complained they quickly put us in a different room. They gave us a room the reeked of cigarettes even though we requested a non smoking room. Now if you have been to a 5 star hotel (especially in the US) you will know that this hotel by any means is not a 5 star.

The hotelвЂ™s own beach was better however. I think next time I would find a hotel away from all the crowds too as the nearest public beach and town were packed and the beach covered in litter. Furthermore there was no evening entertainment at all on Saturday evenings which for early August and the holiday season seems bizarre.ДЄlthough the staff were probably one of the hotelвЂ™s best assets they often forgot to replenish the hospitality tray. The evening entertainment was very limited and the vocalist who sang most nights was consistently out of tune. Even my two teenagers found it disgusting especially at breakfast. Also although this was supposed to be smoke free hotel it was impossible to eat a meal out on the terrace or by the pool without having it spoilt by clouds of smoke wafting over. Sometimes we would have to wait 15 minutes just to get our car. If you needed it they would often have to play multi car shuffle in order to get it out again. The parking cost 3 kunas per day for somebody to park your car somewhere on the very cramped site. However compared with UK standards this was not a 5 star hotel. The staff were very efficient and helpful.
